Hello all, My mother Joan Holt nee Frank of Denmark and I are descendants of Bird Booker Spear born May 9th, 1776, Halifax County, NC. Who married Mary Peyton born Sept 22nd 1780, Nansemond County, VA. Mary died Nov 24th, 1848, Montgomery County, Alabama. Bird died Dec 10th, 1847, Montgomery County, Alabama. Their son P.H. Spear wrote a letter dated 1871, from Livingston Parish, LA. This is a line from the letter: "My mother is Mary Peyton, born in Nansemond County Virginia. Her family are numerous and live in Kentucky and Illinois." We need help finding Mary Peyton's parents and relitives.
