Hi thanks for the reply. I would like any copies, could you e-mail them. My info on Josephus is from the web and I don't have any of it documented, do have Archive Type, 1850 census CD 317 and 1860 census CD 318. This may have come from Family History Center,LDS Church or Family Tree Maker. I'm sorry. Regarding Samuel Pugh, born July 27, 1837 in Belmont County, Ohio. Notes from my grandmother Laura Edna Pugh Elledge passed down to my father--Dicinda and Samuel were pioneers who traveled by covered wagon from Ohio to Iowa. All of their children were born in Caldwell Township, Appanoose County, near Exline, Iowa. Samuel Pugh was a Scotch-Irish descent, and one of sixteen children. Appanoose County Marriage Records show 10-4-1866 for Samuel Pugh and Dicinda Baker. 1887 State Census, Appanoose County, Iowa lists Samuel Pugh 47, a farmer, from Ohio, living in Calddwell Township with Decinda, 41, who keeps house, from VA.
