My name is John Peters - I was raised in Minnesota near Duluth. My great-grand father was Henry Peura (changed the last name to Peters when he came here). He was from Karstula, Finland. I have been there once and met several relatives. There were a number of Peura's from Karstula that came to the U.S.. If you have any relatives originating from Karstula, please let me know.
