Thanks for your interest in my forthcoming book. I will be happy to send you a prepublication notice when the time comes.
I have no present plans to publish a digital version of my book, although I might reconsider when I have more information on the cost of publishing in standard book form. I expect that digital publication will be impractical as the files comprising the book may exceed 2 GB, due to the abundance of pictures.
I am making progress since my last post, having converted and reformatted the first eight chapters and the prefatory material. At the present rate, I might finish by September!
I am not sure I understand what is confusing you with regards to the first two Thomas Pettuses in Virginia. Perhaps you mean Thomas Pettus, Jr., vs. Thomas Pettus II, son of Col. Thomas Pettus. Thomas Pettus, Jr., is not the same person as Thomas Pettus II. If he was the son of Col. Pettus, he evidently died young before the birth about 1650 of Thomas Pettus II.
