For those who are interested in my forthcoming book on the Pettus family, I have been collecting pictures of members of the Pettus family, mainly of England and Virginia, and of their homes. I am presently looking for a good quality image of Capt. Thomas Taylor Pettus of Mecklenburg and Prince Edward County, Virginia. I found one in the July 1926 copy of the Confederate Veteran Magazine, but I would like to obtain a better copy directly from the original, if someone has it. Please write soon if you have any other pictures that you would make good illustrations for my book.
