Seeking info on Wm Petit/Pettit born abt 1834, Va. Married to Harriet Unknown. They appear in the 1880 Giles Co., Va Census under the township of Pearsburg with the following children: Harriett(1860), Henry(1862), Jno W(1864), Geo F(1867), James(1869), Charles(1871), Mary(1873), Emma(1875), Lewis(1878) and Robt(1879). I would like to find out who his parents are and if he was related to a Stephen V Petit, also of Giles Co., Va. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
