Jack Pettitt was a Corn Merchant his father John was a Tailor who came from chesham.
Jack's wife's family had a boot and shoe maker at 1 Oxford road before Jack moved in.
There is a Picture of the Pettitt's shop with the sign overhead which i would like to get a copy of if anyone can help.
