I am looking for information on William and Mary Pettitt, sometimes spelt "Pettet". They had a child, James Pettitt, christened 11 October 1818 in Manchester Cathedral Lancashire, England. James married Rosa Diggins on 5 September 1839, also in Manchester Cathedral. James and Rosa had three children, Eliza Hannah, christened 30 May 1841, William Henry, christened 13 August 1845, and James, christened 9 September 1849. I believe this James Pettitt (Pettit)was born at Salford, Lancashire. Any information on any of these people would be wonderful.
