The U S S Pettit (DE-253) was a Destroyer Escort in servuice dudring World War II manned by U S Coast Guardsman named for Robert Lee PETTIT (1906-1941) from Clare Michigan. Does anyone out there know anything of his descendants and know to condtact them today?
