Hi. I am a desendant of Henry Nelson Pettis. I read some where about a William John Pettis (may of been John wiliam) who was either Henry's brother or Henry's son. I can not find where I read this information. Henry was the son of Benjamin Pettis born March 14, 1780 and Sarah Horton. Benjamin was son the of Ezekiel Pettis who was the son of John Petty Jr born around 1715 or so.
