Hello Everyone , I know I'll catch a lot of flack for this posting , but I'd like to set the record straight . My line starts with John Petty ,b.1639 in England and Ann Canning, b. Boston , Mass . Their son , James Pettys, b. Boston , married Mary Lawton . Their son , William Pettys married Mary Winter . Their son , William Pettis married Mary Kenyon . Their son ,Matthew Pettis , Sr. married Alice Auchmuty and moved to New York , where Matthew served in the New York militia under Col. Mc Crea . Their son , William Pettis , married Ruth Crandall . Their son , Zina Hitchcock Pettis ,b. New York state , married his third wife , Ann Wiltsie and had a daughter , Ella Sophia Pettis , whom married a gentleman named Herbert Newton Seagrave , from Mass. They had three children , one being my great - grandmother Charlotte Nancy Seagrave whom married a Swedish immigrant , Albin Belfrage . They had seven children , the fifth being my grandmother , Meda Charlotte Belfrage , whom married a logger in Washington state , Clarence Albert Campbell . They had three children , mother being the oldest , Nancy Abigail Campbell , whom married father , Albert E. Delker , b. Oregon . They had five children , the third child , William J. Delker , b.
