I don't know of a Pettigrew house in Botetourt by that name.

There was a Melrose Plantation in Botetourt owned by Matthew W. Pettigrew. He was born likely in 1801, and married Paulina Backus in 1838. However, he appears on personal property tax lists in Botetourt as early as 1823, so may have had a plantation/farm as early as then.

Another Botetourt Co. Pettigrew, James W., was born likely in 1814, so would have been too young to own property 1820-25.

What reference did you find that links a Pettigrew to a place called "Fountain Blue?" I'd love to know.
