I just discovered yesterday that my James V. Pettifer had a brother Richard who was born in 1848. It appears that we are all looking at the same Richard because of the similiar date and place. Although my James V. was apparently born in Waterloo, Ont, his son was born in Campbellford, Ont.

I would love to compare notes.
