Hi Michelle,
I am leaving this answer just in case your dates are mixed up.

I have a Thomas PETTET b 1807 in Mercer County, PA, and I believe his father was also Thomas. He moved to Perry Co., Ohio around 1820-1825. He had seven children, including a Thomas b in 1845, and Samuel,born in 1847. I have other info on the PETTET family if it would help.
