My family line starts in Frenstat, Czechoslovakia with Martin Petter wf Frances Papiz;son Alois Petter b 1849 wf Anna Polasek; son Alois J Petter b 1879 wf Mary Orsak; son Arnold Petter b 1919 wf Olga Susil; then me Lois Petter b 1951. Alois and Anna Petter arrived in Galveston, Tx. 1881 and settled in Fayetteville, Tx. Most of the family has remained in the state of Texas. I have most of the brothers and sisters in case you need more information. Thanks for the forum.
