I found a baptismal certificate of one of my great aunts. On the certificate under sponsors were signatures of Henry and Efra Petters from Paducah, Kentucky. I am looking for a great aunt Affie (Reber maiden name)Petters. She married a Henry Petters,and ended up in Houston,TX. I have found some notes in an old address book with addresses of other Petters in California. A Hattie Petter, James Petter, Elsie Petter, Marcellus Petter, Donald & Lydia Petter, Leland V. Dolan and Affie Petter Dolan. Aunt Affie's children were:Henry, Louis, Adolph, Hattie, and Affie.
Affie's sister is my ggrandmother Hortensia Reber Kritz Benson from Paducah,Ky.
I hope this will help you or give me some information on the Petters.
I need all info on the Rebers in Paducah or Petters. If you would write back and let me know if this is your family tree, I would really appreciate it.
