I did leave a follow up message last spring or before. I too am old, but still at home. I have been looking for years where the Iroquois comes from in my family. Alway told it was my father Ferrill/Ralston which might be but not found. I would like to hear fom anyone who might back up Mr. Pettingell's info. I am great grandaughter to Charles H. Pettingill of Vermont 1843
