If youd like I can email you a copy of the article when it's ready for publication or I can mail you a xerox of the actual article if you email your address to me, but I can tell you it may be up to a year's wait. The Minnesota History Center has all the backissues of Staples World so I can get the article you cited there, thanks.

You say you only know names but that may be the valuable thing in this quest for image of Manasseh. He had six children in Staples...do you know the addresses or emails of any other descendants? He was prominent enough that there should be plenty of photos around.
