I found the following information in my data base. It is not Charles Stanwood Pettengill, but Charles Sumner Pettengill who was married to a M. Z. Peterson:
1. CHARLES SUMNER9 PETTENGILL (DANIEL WEBSTER8, JACOB7, JACOB6, ELISHA5, ABRAHAM4, MATTHEW3, MATTHEW2, RICHARD1) was born December 17, 1875 in Dexter, Penobscot County, Maine, and died Abt. 1945. He married (1) M. Z. PETERSON October 07, 1903. She was born Abt. 1877, and died Abt. 1919. He married (2) FLORENCE I. PRIEST June 09, 1920. She was born Abt. 1873, and died Abt. 1943.
Notes for CHARLES SUMNER PETTENGILL:
He was in the class of 1898 at Bowdoin College. After teaching a few years he became a bond salesman for a Boston house in 1903.
