Petrov or Petroff from Russia
My family fleed from Russia during the revolution.
Back then our name was Petrov but since the letter v is pronoundced as f at the end of a word in Russia we changed it in the end of the 50´ties.
Now we are trying to find other surviving relatives that got away.
My grandfathers name was Ignativj but was called Isak he was born in June 1900 and had a twin sister, who´s name we haven´t been able to find out yet.
We are researching in the Russian archives, but it´s not easy.
Does anyone here have some good edvise for me,
or even better, relations to Russia.
