Hello Ruth,

My name is Cindy (Cynthia) Petrie. I haven't been able to find any direct connection to your Philip Petre in my Petrie line, but in researching my family history, I have come across some records for his family. Also, my great-grandfather, Paul Stephan, had a sister named Pauline Stephan. She married Philip John Petre, b. 1/1/1861 in Sheboygan, WI (parents Philip Petrie b. abt Mar 1835 in Hesse, Germany, d. 8/1/1902 in South Dakota and Elizabeth Jacobs b. abt 1836 in Unknown, d. 12/29/1934 in South Dakota). I have some of Philip's & Elizabeth's childrens names and misc. records, including some for Arthur Jacob, Philip John and George. (Most of the records I have are from the Todd County Minnesota Court House and a Todd County history book.) I'm not sure how to get them to you electronically, but if you would like, I will print them out and mail them to you. Let me know please.

Cindy
