Hi Barbara,

I am researching this family at the moment, but have only just started.
My ancestor John Scott Brown married Mary Petrie 1868 South Ronaldsay.
She was the daughter of Hugh Petrie and Barbara born 1831.
Hugh Petrie was the son of Peter Petrie and Clement Allan and Barbara Gray was the daughter James Gray and Margaret Brown.

John Scott Brown and Mary Petrie had a child Hugh Petrie Brown born 21 may 1869 South Ronaldsay.
John Brown was a baker and they lived at Back st St Margarets Hope from 1861-1901.
Thats all I have at the moment.
