Thanks for replying to my query and providing info on a possible burial place for Wilburn B. Petree, and will search that avenue further. I have a strong suspicion that he may have died in Alabama, and quite possibly is buried there - somewhere. I have no clue where the family was living in Alabama at that time; couldn't find them on a first go-round of the 1910 census. Will have to try again at a later time. However, your info did help me fill in a gap in my Petree family information. My grandfather is Houston Cleo Petree, who compiled a "history" of the Petree family, starting with John Petree and Barbara Butts in North Carolina. I sent this info to Charles Hartley several years ago, who I believe you have also communicated with regarding this family. He has also done a great deal of research on the Petree's, providing much valuable information. Good luck in your research!
