Betsy Do you know wich Kuztown it is there is one in Lebanon Co. & One in Berks Co.They are no more than 40 miles away from each other.I am a desendant of Georg Petre who was buried in about 1760 at Cocalico township Lancaster Penn. Its about 10 miles from The Lebenon Kuztown & about 30 or 40 miles from The Berks Co.Kuztown.I also noticed all the the little towns in the Lancaster & Berks county area are German names. We are the Tenn. Petrees I cant find out anything before Penn. Our family has always said we were Alsacian?Or palitines?I think its more than coincidence that the North Carolina clan & the Tennesee clan Lived at the same time in neighboring counties in Penn & left about the same time to go south. If you look at a map the Tenn. clan is in Campbell & Union counties. The Carolina clan is in Forsythe,Washington,&Grainger counties. They are both at about the same latitude at the northern part of the states somewere between 50 & a 100 miles away from each other.I wonder if Georg & Johann were brother or cousins who came on the same ship?
