I have Albert Smith b 1819 in Kentucky m. Elizabeth Jane Petree b abt 1820 in Kentucky.
They had the following children:
Unknown Male (on the 1840 census not on the 1850 or subsequent census)
Celia Ann Smith b. June 15, 1841. Her obituary said in Mt. Pleasant, Henry Co., IA. Other records say IL.
Family was in Iowa in 1842 and was in Jefferson Co., Iowa
Nancy Jane Smith b 1844 in Iowa
James W. Smith b. 1848 in Iowa
George Smith b 1850 d. bef 1856
Jane seems to have died between 1850 and 1854 based on census records and information from Celia Ann's obit. However, I have not found a matching marriage record for Albert. There are two more children after George.
