Your information on the marriage of Johann Jacob Petri/Petry/Petree to Anna Eva Kuehnlin/Kuhnlin/Kuehnlein is correct. The marriage register is available online: I will send the address to you in a follow-up email (if you don't hear from me, send me a reminder). The record recites that Johann Jacob was a "Meister Shuster" (master shoemaker), and that his father, Nicholai, remained in "Deutschland". The Moselem Zion Lutheran Church records at that time were handwritten by the pastor (Tobias Wagner, the first minister of that congregation), in German. The church was, at the time of Johann Jacob and Anna Eva's marriage, a "little log building", built three or four years earlier. It was, apparently, the family church of the Kuhnlin's: church records contain numerous other Kuhnlin-related marriages, baptisms, etc.
