Looking for any information on the Pettit family who
migrated from New Jersey to Berwick in Columbia co.,Pa.
some time in the late 18th century.Do not know the names
of the parents but the children were:Henry(Mr.25,1778-
June 19,1852)married Rebecca Croll(Dec.13,1785-Nov.15,1857)
children:Hannah,Isaac,Mary P. and William Pettit;
Susannah(Mar.15,1783-abt.Dec.1869)married Christian Hauze
(Oct.1,1780-Apr.30,1853)children:John(Mar.1,1812-Nov.8,1873)
married Phebe Rittenhouse(Sept.15,1818-Jan.30,1884),
William(Mar.1817-aft.1910)married Mary Adams(1822-Jan.3,1899)and Theodore(b.Jan.22,1819)married Hannah
McNeil(b.abt.1819)Hauze;and Sarah(Feb.6,1784-Sept.3,1869)
married Adam Croll(Aug.24,1780-Jan.28,1848)children:
John,Mary,Polly,Hannah,Rebecca,Andrew,Rachel,Henry,Josiah
and William Croll.
