I've got quoted from the Assumption Parish in Grand Falls -"Jean Joseph Petit son of Joseph Petit & Alice St.Amand born May 29, 1893, bapt June 1, 1893. Godparents: William Petit & Marie Nadeau, Pastor M.A. O'Keefe.
2 sources for senior Joseph: Joseph Petit(Petit-Grew), s.o Joseph Crew-Petitgrew & Helen Mazerolle (Frencville, ME 1863) -taken from Repetoire of marriages by Fr.Lang. The other source Rep of Mariages Northwestern, NB Canada by Jean-Guy Poitras states s/o Joseph Petit & Emereance Therrien. However both show that he is married to Alice St.Amand. Children for this couple are Elizabeth b. 1888, Maud b. 1890, Agnes b. 1891, John b. 1893, and Adelina b. 1894. Census of 1891 would put this older Joseph as being born in about 1856.
