Trying to locate and information about Catherine Petit who probably married Jacob Janis (Janny, Jannis) in Langres, France in the first half of the 1700's. Their son Hubert was born in Langres but imigrated to south Louisiana. married Maria Margarete Braseur,of Acadia, Hubert died in Opelousas, LA in 1798. Help appreciated.
