First, all that Tract of Land Plantation and Premises whereon the s'd Henry Peterson now Dwells on, Situated in the Township of Upper Penn's Neck & in the County of Salem af'd, Containing 100 acres.
Secondly 45 acres of Land Beginning at a Hickery Tree Standing in the Line of Bout Town marked with 9 notches S 42º W 115 Perches to a white Oak Standing in the Division Line between Edward Shaddock & Peterson markt with 9 notches thence S 55º E 68 Perches along s'd Division Line to a Post set in s'd Peterson's Field thence N 42ºE along the Line of Bout town & Joining on the s’d Peterson Land 106 Perches or 45 acres of Land & swamp with allowance for Roads.
Thirdly, three acres & three Quarters of marsh or Meadow Ground being the Remaining part of 10 acres not sold that Henry Peterson Sen'r gave to the s'd Henry Peterson in Fee & Surveyed by Jacob Richman, Surveyor
Fourthly, two lots of Marsh or Meadow ground Bounded as followeth:Viz:
Beginning at a post Standing by the Bout Creek, then by the s'd Henry Peterson's Marsh that is before mentioned 87 chain's to the Post by Howard's Line then along the s'd Line unto the Bank then by the s'd Bank unto the s'd Bout Creek then up the s'd Creek Bounding thereon to the Beginning, Containing three acres of Marsh or Meadow Ground;
the other s'd Lot is Bounded as follows Beginning at a Post then along Andrew Helms marsh S 42º E 5ch's 40 lk to a Post in a Corner in Boon's Line, then along s'd line N 68º E 9 Ch's 50 lk.s to a Post then along Peter Boon's marsh N 45º W 7 Cha's to a Post then along Peterson's other Marsh to the place of Beginning containing in those Bounds four acres & one Quarter of Marsh.
The Mortgage Deed dated the 11th day of March ADom~ 1773 was acknowledgedbefore Preston Carpenter Esq.the 13th day of the same month & year
