Thank you so much for the information. I descend from George and his 4th wife Sarah Doss through their son William Riley Peterman and his son Richard Tinsley Peterman and his daughter Dora Peterman (my paternal grandmother). Is your information verified??? I have lots of paperwork relating to the Peterman genealogy, back to the original George imigrating from Germany with his wife Catherine Brieta who was from Bavaria. They came on the ship Samuel and landed in Delaware. george (2) was a child on that trip. There is a Descendents of George Peterman Reunion scheduled for 16 Oct. 2004 at Standing Stone State Park in Overton County in case you are interested. Descendents of all 4 wives are scheduled to attend. Please provide me with your address and perhaps we can exchange information.
