Sharon, My Gr. Gr. grandfather John George Peterman, b. 1788 in Somerset, Pa. married (about 1810-1812)a gal by the name Susannah. (Susanna, b. in the USA). What more do you know about the John Peterman you mention in your post. My John immigrated to Canada and raised his family in York County, north of Toronto, Ontario. Their oldest daughter, Mary Peterman was born in 1813. My records show Susanna died in 1866 in Ontario. Could we be talking about the same Susanna? Contact me at the following E-mail address.
