Looking for the family of this man in Peru. I expect that he was of Scottish extraction as that seems to be the root of the name CARRIN which he had as a middle name. Edward emigrated back to England in the 1880s where he ended up in Yorkshire and became a sea fisherman. I did find a record of one E Armstrong - a student- sailing from South America to England and although the middle initial was wrong that is possibly of no consequence as he was about the right age. He would have been born around 1870 as he died in 1920 in Blackpool aged 50. Can anyone please help with this query Notify Administrator about this message?
