Pehrsson/Persson/Piersson

I am researching Anders Pehrsson/Persson known as Andrew Piersson in the US. He was born about 1840 in Skane Lan, Sweden, immigrated in 1868 from Everrod to Illinois. It appears he married in Sweden to either Elizabeth Larson or Bengta Bondesdotter and she immigrated with him. She was known by the family as Betsy. They moved to Bureau County, Il and raised a family: Minnie Annet (married Charles Wixom), Johanna Mathilda, Emma, Esther, Hilda, and Mary. Both Andrew and Betsy died around 1885 in Illinois.
At one point they had a farm hand named Johannes Svensson. It is likely that this Johannes married Johanna and they were referred to as John and Hannah Swanson. They farmed and had several children: Emma Mae, Torry, Alfred, Ann, Harry, and Arthur. Emma Mae married Franz Haglund, my husband Dan's grandfather; she died young when Dan's dad Richard was about 8. Torry married a Lavina Smith and settled in Utah. Ann married a Herbert Brieser and stayed in Illinois. I'm not sure what happened to Alfred, Harry, and Arthur.

I can't seem to find out any info on Andrew and Betsy's parents and siblings. I would appreciate any info.

Thanks, Mary Haglund
