TJP parents were Sterling Person and Olive Ellis from Northampton, NC. They were born between 1825 and 1834. They live near two slaveowners, Thomas Jefferson Person and Daniel Ellis, also in Northampton. I think there is a connection here. I am also researching 5 other Person lines. Atlas(Betty) Person, William Person(Patience), Alexander(Louiza) Person and Alexander(Annie Gray)Person.

Amendment to my previous post. Martha Person's maiden name is Vinson.
