Melissa, Richard & Alta, (no order intended) - Hoping you're still interested in this subject and available on the net - since I didn't see your messages from 2002, til now (2009)- I'm very interested in your line from Benjamin Persinger. In fact, I'm very interested in all the Persinger lines that were from Perry County in the 1820s & 30s. Hoping one of you may be able to fill in what I and a few other of Ben 1834's descendants have independently put together. For instance, does anyone have any idea where Ben is buried ? and exactly when he died ? We're pretty sure he died between 1880-84, but no closer than that. Finally do you have anything handed down about Ben's parents and Grandparents ? I tend to think his father was James Persinger who has left a probate in Perry county in 1835 and Ben's presumed Mother is Mary "Polly" JORDAN - Appreciate input from all 3 of you - thanks, Allan Griffith, Bloomington, Illinois.
