Hi Sue,

That matches what little I have on Zachariah. I have him coming from Craig County, Virginia to Blackford County, Indiana in 1865. This info comes from a bio on Zachariah's brother George W. Persinger. (I would be more than happy to share this bio with you if you do not already have it.)

No luck with a burial location on Zachariah? (or maybe even William?)

What else do you have on your grandfather Edward Z. Persinger?
Was his mother Elizabeth Oliver?
I ask because I was alway curious why he does not show up in the 1880 census with her and A.C. Leffler?
And do you know anything about the Odes Etwood that does?
