James Perry b. 1852 Newton, Georgia, d. abt. 1881 was married to Martha Matilda Kelly (1852-1931) and lived in Walker Co. Alabama. He was the only son of James Perry (1821-1880) and Catherine Henderson (b. ~1832) who never married. The father later married Mary Julia Elizabeth Biggers and had three daughers, Clarissa, Janie, and Trudie while living in Newton Co. Georgia. Catherine Henderson later married Charles Tucker and moved to Winston, Alabama. James Perry (1852) was raised with this family including 11 younger Tucker children. These Perry's descended from wealthy plantation owners Josiah b. 1786 and Walter b. 1759 (Rev. Soldier).

James and Martha had 5 children including Martha Minerva, James (Aaron) and Larkin. I'm interested in finding out more about James (Aaron) who moved to Texas around 1920 and died in the mid 1960's. Please e-mail me if you have any information on this family.
