Marsha,
I do have copies of both these records. Since both records list the year 1850, I figured that it was the correct year, now I wonder is I'm mistaken.
The problem is trying to find the parents. I know that there are Burris/Perry in North Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky and Indian Territory (Oklahoma/Texas) so I guess that's where I'll start.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
