Thanks, I'll have to check there.
I'm not sure how I connect or even if I do.I saw the Shelby County and thought I'd try.
My 4th great-grandfather was John Perry of Va born 1745, fought in the Revolutionary War, died in Maysville in 1821.He came by flatboat to Ky through Limestone, now Maysville, to Boonesboro and then onto Shelby County Ky where my 3rd great-grandfather Lewis was born in 1796.Lewis was married to Mary Williams and then to Eliza Plehn. They were back in Maysville, Mason, Ky by 1840 because that is where my 2nd great-grandfather, Benjamin, was born in 1841 to Lewis and Eliza who were married in Maysville in 1840.
I have some paperwork that indicates that John of Va is the son of Pierce Perry and Mary ????.I have not been able to document that.John's wife's name was Sarah; her last name may have been Leathers. The children I have listed for them are Elizabeth, John, Moses, Benjamin, Sarah, James, Willis, William and Lewis.Moses was married to Nancy Adams, Benjamin was married to Elizabeth Nelson and Sarah was married to Thomas Richardson.I haven't been able to find the spouses for the others.
Working on all of these Perry's can be so frustrating.
If you can add to anything I have, I'd be most grateful.
Claudette
