JACQUELINE C. PATENAUDE, 81, of Valley Street, a Dexter Credit Union employee for many years before retiring in 1984, died Monday at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital, in North Providence.
She was the wife of Lawrence P. Patenaude; they had been married for 58 years. Born in Canada, a daughter of the late Napoleon and Eugenie (St. Cyr) Perron, she had lived in the Blackstone Valley area for many years. She was a 1940 graduate of Notre Dame High School.
Mrs. Patenaude was a member of the Dames de St. Anne at Notre Dame and St. Matthew Church, and the St. Matthew Golden Agers.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Paul L. Patenaude of Dudley, Mass.; a daughter, Jeanne Nadeau of Johnston; a sister, Blanche Roy of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; and two granddaughters. She was a sister of the late Brother Claudius Perron, Maurice Perron, Aurore Tessier and Alice Caplette.
The funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 from the Keefe Funeral Home, 1035 Lonsdale Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Matthew Church, Dexter Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
