Hello Sandy,
Don't know wher you live so do not have ready suggestions. If you look at my general comments in reply to Keith Armstrong re "Jean Perron in France" you will get part of the picture and part of the problem with so little information.
The genealogist handling the file of some 40 to 60 THOUSAND names tied into the Peron/Perron/Péron stream would probably need more info. Most of his data covers the descendants of Daniel Peron (Perron in Québec) dit Suire; however he also has records of the Dugrenier dit Perron and Desnoyers dit Perron. In these last two groups some families retained the original names of Desnoyers or Dugrenier and others went away calling themselves Perron, thus problems.
Also, many Perrons and Pérons went to new England with some being Protestant and others remaining Roman Catholic, which adds to the research problems.
Therefore please, if you can, dig up more info re names of towns or areas as all the Perrons travelled far and wide; example where married? You have a date, there must be a record of a name place, etc.
As far as New England is concerned the American French Genealogical Society of Woonsocket, R. I. could possibly be of help also.
René.
