Perritt Tradition

As I read many of the stories on these pages, it seems that the Perritt/Parrott/Perrit name is all over the map. I am from NJ but I do know my father was born in Marion, SC and I met my great-grandmother at the age of 101 in North Carolina in 1960. The former name of my great-grandmother is Roberts. Who, I believe also originated down south. Now, where do we all come from? well, it would seem that we all came from England and possibly ties to Scotland. Some of the Perritts went to Canada, via Nova Scotia and NewFoundland, and some settled in the South, such as North and South Carolina, later to spread to Texas, etc, etc. Om my last vacation, I went to Nova Scotia and found some very interesting facts with names and dates. If there is any interest, on my next message, I could list some of those names, dates, places with showing ties back to England and Scotland. The more response I get, the more happier I would be to list it. Take care my family! And have a great 2002!
