1723 John Perritt and Mary appear in Bertie County. They moved on to present day Edgecombe Co., NC. Daniel, John, Lewis, and Nicholas their children. Daniel had a John, This John m. Agness and seemed to move to Pitt Co., Dulpin Co., Lenoir Co, NC. It appears he may have had a son Lewis who moved to New Hanover Co., and a son in 1790 named John in Anson County. A Joseph Williams, Jr., m. Martha Parrott who may be a dau of John and Agness Perritt. Joseph and Martha moved to Anson, now Union County, and both died there in 1825. I have a large number of records of 1700s Perritts/Parrotts in NC. I am still seeking documentation, as many of these Perritts seemed to leave little in the form of records that showed relationships. Several clues have surfaced that have helped. I am certain there are still things out there to be discovered.
I will be happy to look at your earliest proven or suspected Perritt/Parrott ancestor to see if we have a connection or if I have helpful information.
