I have recently come across and purchased an old photo album, at a yard sale, which includes Perrin family photos from Vermont. It looks like a leather bound album, but not sure, and has a metal clasp. Some of the photos have no names, but a few do. Some of the names are: Inda Rix Perrin; Viva Bird Perrin; Porter Perrin; Edward Crandalle; Elisha Wild and his wife Lucinda Rix. The lady who sold the album to us said it belonged to her Uncle by marriage, and she did not know any of them. We did ask her a few questions and she gave us the following info: Edward Crandalle, b. 1880 or 1890's married Dorothy Seymour who died at age 93. They both lived in Vermont. She said Edward's father was Reverend J. M. Perrin whose cousin was the Governor of Vermont in the late 1800's, and that Edward's mother's name was Nettie. That's all she knew, so I don't know what is fact and what is not.
I would love to see this photo album in the hands of the rightful family. If we cannot find anyone, will probably send it to the Historical Society in Berlin, Vermont. Please reply to my email address: email@example.com.
