I'm replying to the last paragraph of your posting regarding Thomas A. Perrin in Cheboygan Michigan. This gentleman was my grandmother's granduncle. He did have a Thomas, but this young man never married and died in 1909 here in California. Thomas Abraham Perrin was a physician in San Jose California and died in 1913. I have more on this family although it's not my direct line.
I do have more information on 'my' Perrin family. I'm descended from Thomas Perrin (b 1791) and Margaret Ellis. They had two children, Thomas(of course)(b.1817) and Permylia. Thomas (b 1791) divorced Margaret Ellis and married Mary Ann Peat. My grandmother remembered her grandmother telling her about visiting 'both' of her grandmothers as a young child. Thomas (b 1817) married Esther Westbrook and they had 7 children. I have info on all 7. My ancestor was their 4th child Elizabeth Angeline Perrin. She married James Craig in Huron County. James and Elizabeth had 7 children....an so on....I can send more if you'd like it!
If you have questions or would like what I have on this Thomas Perrin downline let me know.
