Hi everyone,
I am writting from France, where the name of Perrette isn't so usual.
An uncle of mine did some researches some years ago and as far as as know (for any reasons he kept the result secret), he found an ancestor who emigrated to Canada after being a soldier "grogniard" of Napoleon.
It's very funny the way a name could change all along the years.
A guy from Argentine told me as well that they had a president named Perrette, whose origines where italian.
Perrette being an extension of Pierre it isn't surprising to find it all over the worl.
It spend some years in Dublin, Ireland, where I found two Perrette in the directory.
Do you have some informations about the european orignes of your familly name ?
best regards
marie pierre
