AUGUSTUS PERRAULT to TROY NY, 1850

This is a new line for me. Along with Augustus b. @ 1828 Canada,there are a number of Perraults in Troy NY in 1850 census. I believe Augustus changed his name to Perkins by 1860, and I wondered if anyone knew which Perrault line this is. Other names are Charles D. Perrault b. @ 1805, Francis b.@ 1810, Josephine b.@ 1805, Euphrasia b. @ 1808, Charlotte,Abner,Nathaniel, Louisa,Eliza,Matilde. It looks like the family migrated dring the 1830's Thank you for any help you can give.
