I came across your query to Robert about the "reh" of the marriage at St Dominicks in Montreal in 1922 concerning your ancestors. It is unclear if you got an answere so I thought I would post this for your information
"Reh" usually means a "marriage rehabilitation". There might have been a defect in the original marriage record and a second marriage is a way of making it perfectly legal. It is liking saying your vows a second time to confirm you really did want to marry that person.
