To all descendants and admirers of Nicolas Perrot (1643-1717), pioneer of Nouvelle-France and great explorer of Canada and the United States of America. We request the pleasure of your company at the yearly commemorative Mass marking the anniversary of this truly exceptional man who has gone down in legend and earned him a special place in our "Collective Heritage". The Mass will be held on Sunday, 17 September 2006, 10 AM at the chuch in St Sulpice at 1095 Notre Dame, St Sulpice, Quebec, Canada J5W 3W2. The Perrot's were some of the founding fathers of St Sulpice. A reception in honour of Nicolas Perrot, where a "vin d'honneur" and a meal shall be served and will take place afterward. A gathering conducive to perpetuating the memory of this famous ancestor and allowing for cordial exchanges. There will be excursion by boat to a Perrault winery on the island in the St Lawrence that is still owned by a Perrault. There is now formed a Perrot/Perreault/Perrault Association which will produce a bulletin three or four time per year.
